A fortunate meeting in 2007 at the University of Southern California brought us together. As three international obstetricians and gynecologists providing medical care for countless underserved women and children, we realized there was a greater need…
Women from different backgrounds are in desperate need of health education and information that is accurate, relevant and reliable. Women all over the world have the same questions about their health, their children’s health and their partner’s health. We realized that there was a disparity in [the] access to information among different populations and that health information in different languages was also lacking. From that discovery, we created Health Goes Female to address the need for accurate medical information that is available to all women, of all ages, from all parts of the world. We are making our POINT in life by providing health education to women and girls from all walks of life.
Access to health care information should not be a luxury. A woman empowered is a woman informed.
We created our Make a Point Movement and our Make a Point Fund to inspire individuals to make their point. Our movement spotlights individuals who make a difference in the lives of others and their community.
